The news New Zealand has been waiting for: the first LAN stop in NZ. Midnite has been working hard on preparing a huge LAN event for NZ's gamers. Check out full details here.

CLOUD LAN 01

The first LAN of the 2010 circuit for NZ is coming to Auckland! This April 2nd, 3rd & 4th is your ticket to earning fame, cash and your chance to earn season points to secure the best seed possible for all AusHalo online and LAN events.

Transport:

For all those outside of Auckland I will arrange shuttles from the airport and central city for those who need it. Add me on msn if you are interested in a shuttle and I'll try and arrange it so that the cost is at a minimum.

Entry to the event for the weekend is $50. This will get you in and signed up for one event of choice. For all those wanting to enter multiple events an additional $10 will be charged. Multiple tournament entry is allowed however players will be required to list their primary events which will take priority over other events if a time clash occurs.

Prepayments are essential to guarantee your seat at the event. Numbers are limited so get in quick!

I understand that the Aus / NZ circuit want to be run as close together as possible, but it was a little frustrating having them so close, I had intentions to head to NZ for Cloud but we have a circuit stop over here just a few days later.

Definitely attending the next NZ stop after Cloud however.

Not for any other reason that catching up with a lot of people over that way. Oh and I play Halo
I just wanna let you know... THE BACK OF YO HEAD IS REDIKLOUS
Oh don't be insecure girl... OWN THAT PONYTAIL... WORK THAT UP DO!

Yeah, I would have considered it as well, but there's only so many time frames during the year you can organise people to travel - school holidays, public holidays, etc.

The next 2 NZ events will be dated just after Cloud LAN so hopefully they don't coincide with the AU events too much. Would be a huge shame if we couldn't get some AU talent on our shores.

At this stage I'm planning on having a minimum of 2 more events this year. Things are looking positive so far and I'll announce things in more detail soon after Cloud LAN.

You'll have to wait and see. All I'll say is I have huge plans for one of them and depending how this first event goes will be the decider on what I can and can't do at the next one.

I'm kinda the same, but the other way round. I have been to every country in Europe and been almost in every state in the US, but haven't been to the South Island :)
