As much as I'm anti-mac, his innovation and passion for his job definitely moved the world forward in our views of technology.

Not really. He recently stepped down as CEO of Apple and he was diagnosed with cancer and given only a few months to live years back.

You derps, he was chief executive of Pixar and was the largest individual shareholder in the company with 7% (but then again im a film nut so thats why I knew that) also had involement in Disney aswell, dont know too much about that.. Crack all the jokes to be the cool guy but he is tied to so many things that we used/own/owend/seen... cancer is a bitch, happens to too many good peeps.

Yup, without Steve Jobs PIXAR wouldn't exist. I don't care much for Apple products but I love PIXAR movies and Steve Jobs gave them the funding they needed to create Toy Story and continue making movies.

Steve was truly someone who changed the planet. He revolutionised industries. I hope he rests in peace and Apple keeps going in the same direction.
