ACL Gold Coast Announced

ACL Gold Coast has been confirmed for January 21st-22nd!
It's official, Australian Cyber League's first event for the 2012 season has been announced on the beautiful and sunny Gold Coast! The 2012 ACL Pro Circuit will feature the best and most competitive titles, which means for 2012 you will see Modern Warfare 3 replacing Black Ops, Fifa 12 replacing Fifa 11 and the addition of Starcraft 2 to our National Circuit. Don't miss out on your chance to compete against the best Australia has to offer, catch up with your friends, spectate the the best professionals go head to head and experience all the action of an ACL event first hand! Prepare yourself for the 2012 ACL Pro Circuit, where we will truly take professional gaming to the next level.
For the first time we will be working together with Bond Casual Gaming Society. ACL will be considered part of their 'Gamer's Life Convention', which will also play host to a multitude of casual gamers and anime screenings. If you're keen to play some casual PC or console titles, you will be able to register for a casual gaming section.

Starcraft 2 - Headphones, Keyboard and Mouse.
Fifa - Controller only
All other titles are BYO equipment. That means you will bring everything you need to compete.
That can include:
-Xbox (and all Xbox Cords)
-Ethernet Cord (5-10m preferable)
-Whatever else you want or need to play
Please bear in mind that you will pay an 'entry' to the entire convention separate to your ACL tournament fee. Below is the TOTAL price you will pay per person.
Halo Reach 4v4: $45
CoD Mw3 4v4: $45
Halo Reach FFA: $5 if you are competing in a 4v4 also, $25 standalone
- $15 for OPEN BRACKET Entry
- Top 8 from OPEN BRACKET pay additional $20
- $20 for OPEN BRACKET Entry
- Top 8 from OPEN BRACKET pay additional $20 to compete in PRO BRACKET (total $40)
- $40 for PRO BRACKET Entry

Saturday - 8.30am to 9pm.
Sunday - 8.30am to 6pm.

Parking is free and there are numerous parking spaces available. As shown on the map above the recommended parking areas are marked in black.
Food & Drinks:
There are two food outlets on Campus at Bond University: Don's Tavern and Bond Cafe. Don's Tavern is located directly beneath the venue, but it is unconfirmed if it will be open on the day, Bond Cafe however will be opened all weekend. Additionally there is a Subway located right near the The Chancellor hotel as well and as usual there will be cold soft drinks available for purchase throughout the day at the Venue.
