Ok, CoD isn't really my game but I'm jumping into campaign to give it a bash and WHAT THE HELL?

Is there a single sentient being in this universe, human or otherwise that could possibly play this game on sensitivity 10? Is that option in the game as a joke or what? Am I supposed to use some sort of special control to take advantage of that?

1 is low to the point where it takes you 3 seconds to do a 180 and 2 is medium... Ummm, last time I checked if you're going to offer a choice between 1-10, 5 is the logical choice for medium.

Sick of game developers doing this in pretty much every game, including Halo. First they crank up the aim acceleration to the point of absurd, then they give you 10 sensitivity options with about 2 of them being valid choices.

Indeed there is. It's a bit silly though as most people play 3-7 but there are a few amazing players that roll with 10 sensitivity. I know Im Fergalicious from MindFreak does or did for one.

I played MW2 and Blops on 10 sens when I was gaming heaps. Haven't been able to lately (I don't play as much) and as far as I can tell 10 isn't faster than those games.

But since those days I usually play on 7.

I was on 10 in MW2 for a few months, if i didn't play in a while i'd put it back to 7

yeah ive seen some pretty good players play on rediculous senses
but i generally find 4 the best
in halo and cod

I just go in to SnD on 10 sense and do fully sick 720-claymore-shotgun-knife midair killcams. There's no other way.

I played 10 sens Halo from 1-Reach... Have since changed to 4/5.

...I play 10 sens on CoD. xD But that may explain why I'm terrible.

playing on a high sens in cod is far easier than playing on a high sens in halo. i play 4 on halo and 7 on cod.

Fergi from my team uses 10 sens and controls it insanely well. Has one of the best shots easily and often outshoots people up close because he plays on 10.

There are other top players who use it as well.

I've tried it myself and after some time of solid play i can handle it okay - most of the controlling of aim is done with small movements and that is not affected nearly as much as full movement is. The main problem is adjusting to when you fully push the stick one way.

A lot of people stupidly go to 10 because of others though and it doesn't suit them at all.

I play on a sensitivity of 4. When I first started playing COD, I gradually climbed my way to 10, before I got some tips from top players back in COD4 saying it's too hard to use M16 on 10, so I gradually brought myself down again. In MW2, 3 was a good sensitivity for assault rifles, but too slow for rushing/SMG's. So I went up to 4, and have stayed at 4 ever since.

What Krit said. I play have played default, default everygame until MW3 as I mostly assault whore. But I have up'ed it to 5 sens for MW3. I seem to think that this game is slower though. I play 7 sens in Halo for the record, if indeed there there is such record.

Also I think that I am the only player to win the Nat Champs with Default, Default... Just saying
