Is the LoL scene in Australia big enough to have a LAN presence?

5v5 game + the fact that it has only been out for a year are the reasons I ask.

Wouldn't be able to have enough teams, staff to look after it, not enough room at current LAN locations for an additional LoL section, games can go up to 1Hr (time consuming)

but it's apart of the MLG pro circuit so i was just wandering if it would be possible, it's a great game i love to play (:

reason LoL is in the MLG circuit now is because they have a way bigger demand for it. it just is nowhere as big as it needs to be here to even be on the circuit. just cas MLG brings something in doesnt mean we are going to follow it. no intention of arrogance, just stating a valid points.

LoL is definitely big enough to have a presence in Australia, there would probably be twice as many people that play LoL in Aus than Halo. The problem with LoL on the circuit though is you need 10 computers all with internet just to run one match .

If ACL does put it on the circuit it won't be for another two years IMO, you need a lot of infrastructure behind it.

in every game on LoL people should ask around if there australian (if there around the 200 ping) and tell them about ACL and that were trying to get enough people to get a comp up and running for it haha

yeah i have atleast 12-13 friends that love playing LoL and are good at it, i quite enjoy playing it to. there are definetly australian LoL players then there are Aus halo.

I'd rather see more effort around Dota 2 with MLG when the game is officially launched. The original dota is much better than League of legends and Heroes of Newerth. from what I've seen on the Dota 2 streams and the features they're implementing on a daily basis, I see this MobA being the biggest in 2012. (I want my beta key already valve ).

I remember when I got my beta key for dota 2....The game actually isn't fun. Unless you're asian and enjoy yelling in internet cafes it's not for you.
