Not sure if already posted, but these are just some points as to why I think it should be on the circuit
- Free to play
- Easy to stream
- Big community
- Fun to play
- Fun to watch

What's everyone's opinion?

Its not as simple as just putting together a competition for it. ACL needs people to run it, prizes and a lot of other different things. If Vanz had those things I'm pretty sure he would have this along with a lot of other titles in the ACL Pro Circuit.

The largest problem is that to play a game of LoL you need 10 PCs. They are much harder to BYO PC compared to xbox.

We've only just added SC2, give us a chance, lol. MLG has only just begun LoL and they're about 100X's bigger than us.

I'd love to see LoL on the circuit but you need to remember it's a lot harder than running Halo and SC2.

It requires active internet connection with no lag, since LoL isn't P2P (Something few large venues can offer).
It requires enormous amounts of time - The average game goes for 30-45 minutes and some matches last even longer. In a double elimination bracket one game that goes over time could hold up the entire tournament.
It requires 10 PC's for just 2 teams to face each other. Since the games can go for so long it's hard to rotate teams on stations, so then you need to double that amount just to have 4 teams playing at the same time.

Let's give a realistic estimate, let's pretend our first event had 6 teams register. That means we require 30 PC's ON TOP of the PC's we require for SC2. Then we need a cash pool to offer as prize money to the top team and it needs to be decent since LoL is played by 5 player teams.

If Riot wants to help us out (hint hint) then I'm sure we'll see it added sometime in the future, you'll have to be patient though.

Those games don't require any form of skill to separate good from bad. Would just be like COD going to the final minute of the final round in the final game every series.

An online comp for League of Legends would definitely work, as it sets aside most logistics problems and leaves the administration problems. The one thing ACL would need is dedicated LoL staff.

That's fair enough, but I couldn't see a problem of some prize-less online rounds like Vanishz pointed out. They would be fun and you could get a rough outline of what the communities size would be like if it ever was to be on the LAN circuit.

It's definitely something we'll think about carefully. This isn't a promise that we'll end up doing anything, but the game is definitely too big for us not to consider.

One does not simply add a game into the ACL circuit.

There is a lot of preparation that goes into these sort of things, dedicated staff need to be found, appropriate format decided and then you have to look at your goals for the future with the game.
If you think you can help run it, write up a well thought out document containing everything. How the comps would run, who would run them, where would the teams come from (sites etc.) and send it to Vanzo. He will check it out when he gets the chance and take it from there.

I don't think you understand the concept of a coin flip game.

Please ignore Slayerx - He's either incredibly ignorant or a very good troll. Either way, he's not worth your time.
