ACL Community Halo 3 MASTER THREAD

This thread will be updated throughout the tournament with important and official information necessary for the competition. As this is primarily an information thread, posts will be deleted periodically.

ACL Community Halo 3 Results Thread

When
Saturday the 4th of February and Sunday the 5th of February.

Pool Play - Saturday the 4th of February
Double Elimination - Sunday the 5th of February.

TIMES
4th February - 2pm (AEST)
5th February - 11am (AEST)

Rules & Settings
All MLG v8 maps and gametypes can be downloaded HERE. Make sure you play the correct MLG settings, and do not play GB settings.

Make sure you read and understand all the rules for this tournament, even though they are rules for Reach they still apply to Halo 3. To compete in this tournament it is compulsory for ALL competitors to read the rules. You can view them HERE.

Round by Round Gametypes
POOL PLAY
All 3 games must be played. All games must be MLG (not GB) settings meaning there should be no ties. If you play the wrong gametype and you result in a tie the game must be replayed.

DOUBLE ELIMINATION
As there are only 12 competing teams ALL teams will progress to the Double Elimination bracket.
Standard best of 5 - first to win 3 games rules apply. All games must be MLG (not GB) settings meaning there should be no ties. If you play the wrong gametype and you result in a tie the game must be replayed.

Substitutions
Whichever teams have not posted substitutes yet may do so in this thread. You are only allowed one substitute on Saturday (Pool Play). On Sunday you are allowed to use the same substitute OR another (different) substitute if necessary, but you may never use two substitutes at once. You must always be playing with AT LEAST 3 of your original members.

One of our team mates doesn't have Heretic. Can we play Amp/Onslaught instead of Heretic for each of those games?

Just letting people know. im not using subs at all but AaO Monkey is on CalamityMess as he didnt have all the maps, and KnOxide is on CritterBug as he didnt have any of the maps or the disc and we've downloaded it to that account.. both of these accounts are MY spare accounts. xo thanks for understanding
