Iunno if this happens to other people but are desktop wallpapers always low quality even if the resolution is 1080p? :S

I made my wallpaper to 1080 and when I preview it the quality is awesome but when I set it as my wallpaper it comes out overly sharp? There is pixelation around the edges.

Is there any way to make the desktop background at full reso?

What i usually do is make the wallpaper twice the resolution, and when it scales down automatically it generally looks better.

Could just also be your monitor too :/

I guess that could work considering it's a pretty simple vector wallpaper.

I don't think it's my monitor though cause that thing is a beast, plus it wouldn't make sense considering that in every program or preview I run the image is fine, just not on the wallpaper. This happens on my laptop too.

It might just be Windows way of not eating up too much just for the wallpaper :S

Save it as a high quality file such as a .PNG or something.

I had this problem to, it happened to me because although i had my photoshop canvas set to 1920x1080 the photoshop canvas on my screen was obviously smaller which made it look fine on the canvas but pixelated as a desktop back ground. Hope that makes sense.
