Hey guys,

I'll be having a casual Halo LAN at my house on the Central Coast on Saturday the 31st of March.

All welcome. It's not going to be too serious, I'll have some friends over and we'll probably play Halo 1 most of the time but we'll dip into other games as well if people are keen.

If you are interested post here, get me on MSN, Facebook, PM, whatever, I'm not hard to contact.

Hopefully we can get a decent amount of people and screw around in some stupid 8 vs 8 BG CTF games.

Sleep arrangements available if necessary, bring something to sleep on because couches are limited.

Are people really not interested in a Halo LAN at all these days?

So far I've asked around and gotten one yes and only a couple of maybes... Looks like I might have to postpone and choose a later date if no one is keen. =(

Haha, well that's 2 people confirmed so far. I wanna try for about 8 people total, so spread the word. If it gets to Thursday and we still don't have the numbers I might have to postpone it until May (Got a very busy April).

I wanna start around 11am-12pm and then go until late. People are welcome to crash on the floor if they want for transport issues. Alcohol very welcome, haha. I wanted to do a BBQ as well but I'm not sure if I can get my spare BBQ working so might settle on pizza's instead.

Sadly, I'm not going to go ahead with this on the weekend. I've got 2 people that confirmed they would like to come and a few maybes and it's not really worth the effort in organising TV's and network equipment for only a couple of people... I'll organise another one for May and give about a months notice and hopefully we can actually get a bit of interest...

Seems the LAN scene is dead these days unfortunately. Everyone would rather just play online. =(

Back in the Halo 2/Halo 3 days we used to have frequent Game On competitions and now the only LAN's people attend are ACL, lol.
