Address: 40 Eastfield rd, Rindwood East, 3135
(this address will only be up until the event commences)

Date: June 16 (saturday)

Time: 1:30pm

Games: 360: Halo Reach
PS3: King of Fighters XIII, Tekken 6, Worms: Armageddon, Gran Turismo 5
GCN: Mario Party 7, Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Strikers, NFS: Carbon, Soul Calibur II........like every Sonic game.....nearly
PC:Starcraft: Broodwar, Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, Age of Empires III (Asian Dynasties)
64: Super Smash Bros. 64, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye

Challengers (non-ACL): Empress, urdead, EddiePooO, 5tarbuck1337, CONI, Packetts & GODmode + 2 others.

Extra details are as follows: everyone's responsible for their own lunch, sorry to say. But we will be providing snags in bread for dinner and probably a few sides. Alcohol will be BYO.If you want like a little more variety feel free to bring along other meats, salads, sides. We have ample bedding for crashers, & by bedding I mean matresses, you should probably bring a blanket or sleeping bag. Not sure how much sleep will be got, but it's nice to have the option there.

The equipment list is as follows: 2 Xboxes, 5 Xbox controllers, 2 x Reach, 2 x TVs (& a 20 something " monitor when it's not in use......it probably will be). The Gamecube/64 will be hooked up to a separate TV which I'll try to source, I'm just planning on using a CRT. & the PS3 (2 controllers) will only be in use when my Xbox isn't in use.
I'm told there will be a third Xbox & TV being brought, though I'm hesitant to confirm this. As more maybes, I'll put down another 4 controllers, of a person whom I know to be attending.

Also, just quickly, we have a greater LANning capability than previously mentioned & obviously other games than those listed.

Lastly, this isn't an exclusively 18+ event (all participants so far are) but please keep in mind that performance "enhancing" substances may be present. So if you're a young 'un & your parents aren't keen on you drinking then perhaps you shouldn't attend, or at least not have them walk you to my door >_>

SSB64 indeed. I'm more of a melee man myself, but obviously I'm down for 64 play. I do only have two controllers worth playing with, my other 2 have been Mario partied out. Perfect Dark is also a go.

Frosty, no entry cost, it's just at my place, no prizes, but people ARE encouraged to bring their own equipment. We're (my housemates & I) are well equipped for console LAN for up to 8 people.

We have immediate access to 2, & possibly 3 360s, all with 4 controllers. More is welcome of course. We only have one Wii, ps3 & 64, but that's all we should need for our purposes.

Royalfan, this is just a social event, if people are REALLY insistent then I can make up ladders. But it's more just about getting together for a bit of fun. & I didn't realize when I started this on FB, but it will fit nicely as a precursor to ACL Melb. If people want to bring drinks & whatnot feel free, hence the cautious 18+ statement on my first post.

I'll bring my Nintendo 64 as well, can't have a LAN that has a Nintendo 64 there and not play Goldeneye.

Interersted as
ACL: "Jumping back to Melbourne for a second, did you get much time to look around at some of the other teams competing? Were there any people who you mightn't have seen much of before that impressed you?"

Voltage: "I didn't really get to watch many people play, but I was very impressed with Twu Rock when I was watching him playing No Remorse on the main stage, he really surprised me with his skill."
