I've seen posts about GAME not honouring pre-orders, anyone experienced/heard anything about this?

GAME went into voluntary administration today, so I guess there is a chance they won't be able to follow through with the pre-orders.

Apparently This is the text they sent out.

"Due to the appointment of an administrator to our business this morning, it is with regret that I inform you all that our stores will not be receiving any stock of diablo 3 (sic)," the message read.

"Because of this, we regrettably will be unable to fulfill any pre-orders. Also, we will be unable to refund any deposits paid towards a pre-order of diablo 3. If you need any more info, please email [email protected]"


Big W will also be selling for $58, but their stock will probably be extremely limited and you have to go in store. Still if you live closer to one than a Dick Smith might be worth checking out.

Servers already crashing no one stream can log in at the moment.
Asian servers got released before any other country in Europe.

I heard there were quite a few people lining up outside the stores in Perth today. Those poor poor staff members.

Blizzard is offering cash backs for those who pre-ordered through GAME. If you purchase the digital copy and send Blizzard a copy of your GAME receipt, they'll reimburse you for how much you put down on your pre-order. People who paid for their purchase in full (Why on Earth would you do that?!) should definitely get in on this.

I have never played or even heard of Diablo before a week ago.. Is it like WoW..? Or any other game?
