Whether the game is dead or not clearly people are interested and it's all good fun plus brings life back into the community. Online players > LAN players.

Thank you talwin. I'd jump at online comps if they were held fortnightly or monthly. For the level of play and fun compared to MM and to get closest I could to LAN play ( I only hope people get what I mean by that statement) plus more serious online play = better player and team progression and hopefully leading people to attend LAN.

For anyone that's never been to a LAN you really need to. Just imagine online tournament x10.

Travel can be fun.
Putting faces to gamer tags I think is the best along with meeting 'online friends' and gaining 'irl friends' and just the overal meeting them as a person I guess.
LAN the next best thing since dip with chips.
