If only people came online to see this, they're too busy trying to tell the rest of us no one plays 'it's a shitty dead game' to actually see the influx that's happening at the moment.

If we get players interested now it won't be hard to carry them into halo 4. If halo 4 is this big social game it's being talked up to be, it's going to be hard to get newer players into MLG due to the huge change in competition and skill. Previously halo had minimal playlists, reach took a huge jump to spread out the population and with all the new things being integrated into halo 4 (infinity, weekly campaign etc) it going to make it even harder.

There are actually going to be having less playlists much like Halo 3 had, maybe less. So less, more main stream playlists which will lessen the problematic diversity that reach created (which is what your talking about). Halo 4 is still like the previous games; Matchmaking, Spartan ops (side campaign taking over from firefight), forge, campaign and films. Infinity is basically making the menu feel more integrated into the game.
