Check out the brand new Halo Reach multiplayer teaser at Bungie.

The video shows off many new features from Halo Reach. The multiplayer beta will be released on May 3.

Am far from impressed. Social gurus eat your heart out. Why must the worlds gene pools be pissed in by a select few? Instead of making a game and altering it to be competitive MAKE A FUCKING COMPETITIVE GAME AND FUCK THE REST.

I think the best thing to come out of everything I have seen and heard so far is that MLG Will be able to make a pretty fantastic competitive game out of Halo Reach, MatchMaking on the other hand will be saturated with so much stupid shit it will be ridiculous.

THIS, i was reading some where that mlg are going to be able to do ALOT to make it pretty good. IMO it was an average trailer, i was under the impression that there was a br, maybe not? better get to work on my pistol...

Seems like a similar kill time from what I saw in the videos, won't be much different from using the BR. Will be a lot better, but will feel very similar I think.

One part of the video it looked as though the Pistol has a huge reload time.

When i was looking i think it has a decent clip size but i wouldnt think that they would make the reload that long.

Hmm maybe ill have another look at the vid, the DMR scares me...

Game looks incredibly fun. I mean with all the cool shit in it, jetpacks, fucking jetpacks, and front rolls and shit. But it scares me so much from a competitive view, it really doesn't look like a competitive game at all, especially not a Halo competitive game. I'm so disappointed about reticule bloom, I really think that could ruin the game, if not, the competitive side of it, altogether. We can just hope for Halo to give us even more custimisation than before so MLG have something to work with.

For an alpha build this is looking fairly solid. There is around two months until the beta is released in which time they'll polish and add/remove some mechanics. I won't be playing the beta but I'm eager to see where they decide to go with Halo Reach seeing as it is their last Halo related title.

I think it's far too early to tell if this game will be what we all want or a complete flop. I need one of those analysis videos where people breakdown certain sequences to see some of the finer changes that were blurred into the fast paced action. Without this I can't really say how I think this game will cope when compared to its predecessors or other games on the market when it reaches the hands of consumers. I'm excited, but I need more.
