Ive had Siberia v2s for a about a 6-8 months now with the Astro mixamp. I've used both Astro A40's and Siberia v2s and I would say that the sound is a lot better in the Siberias. Also I got a little sick of wairing the astros just because they werent confortable. The earmufs (can't spell) in the siberias have soft leather surrounding it so its very confortable. The mic however is really weird, ocasionally I am told they can't understand me becasue the mic is either to far away and can't hear me but if I move it a tad closer it becomes all blurred, it sounds like wind blowing into a mic, however that just might be an issue with me and how I speak haha.

I bought a pair of 2013 A40's a few months back and there was constant problems with them, they produce huge amounts of static through the mic and you have to constantly adjust the mic's positioning to get it to accept a voice feed.

It wasn't just a defective pair either, two of my friends have also gone through this and returned them after problems just like I did, people on the internet have some of the same problems too.
Not sure what Astro is doing lately but their quality has dropped for their 2013 range, A50's are apparently producing common problems also.
After I returned my Astro's I decided to ditch an Xbox compatible headset all together and just bought a pair of Corsair Vengeance 1500's and they have been great apart from some comfort issues, they take a while to get used to. I'd recommend a pair of the 1300's cause they have an analog connector (1500 is USB) that would plug straight into your mixamp with a Y-splitter cable.
